Urn of Honey

Acknowledging the renewal, the learnings, and the deep appreciation gleaned. 

Honey: 2.5kg of hand pressed, aged honey, harvested from Bundjalung country. 

Stoneware: Iron rich stoneware. Fired to 1280 Celcius. Lime green glaze. The glaze reacts with the minerals in the clay body to form rivulets and streaks. 24K gold lustre detail. The real gold is applied before the third firing. This piece has spent over 120 hours in a kiln.

Properties: A vessel of sweet nourishment for journeys into the afterlife.
